August 31, 2020 228

Note: SAE (45° cone angle) This is the term for a pipe joint with a 45° cone angle or cone seat. This kind of joint is usually used for soft copper pipes because the material is easy to process at a 45° angle. This kind of pipe joint SAE 45° cone angle external thread can only be matched with SAE 45° cone angle internal thread. SAE external threads are straight threads and have a 45° cone seating surface. The SAE internal thread is also a straight thread and has a 45° cone seat surface. The seal is formed at the 45° cone seat surface. Some sizes of threads are the same as SEA 37° taper angle threads. The cone angle should be measured carefully for the zone line.
